Threat Protection
Invoke's Threat Protection practice turns Microsoft Defender XDR and Microsoft Sentinel into one working security operations platform. We connect protection for endpoints, identities, email and cloud apps, set up incident handling and automated response, build hunting queries and custom detections, and give your team the reporting to run it day to day.

The challenge
Too many alerts, not enough signal.
Security teams juggle separate tools, noisy alerts and manual steps, so real attacks take too long to find and stop.
- Alert overload
Noisy, duplicate alerts bury the incidents that matter.
- Disconnected tools
Endpoint, identity, email and cloud app signals sit in separate consoles.
- Slow response
Manual triage and approvals stretch the time from detection to containment.
- No clear measures
Without KPIs and reviews, it's hard to show security operations are improving.
What we cover
12 capabilities, one practice.
Each area can stand alone or be part of a larger program. We start where the risk or the value is highest.

How we work
From priorities to results, in five stages.
Every engagement moves through the same stages, whether you start with an assessment or a full program.
- Stage 1 Align
Agree on outcomes, priorities and the people involved.
- Stage 2 Prepare
Assess readiness and design the target state.
- Stage 3 Enable
Deploy and configure the Microsoft capabilities.
- Stage 4 Adopt
Roll out to people and processes, with training and change support.
- Stage 5 Optimize
Measure results, tune and plan what comes next.

Questions
Threat Protection, answered.
What does Invoke's Threat Protection practice cover?
The Microsoft security operations stack end to end: Microsoft Defender XDR for endpoints, identities, email and cloud apps, Microsoft Sentinel for SIEM and SOAR, incident handling, automated investigation and response, threat hunting, exposure prioritization and security operations reporting.
Do we need both Microsoft Defender XDR and Microsoft Sentinel?
Defender XDR protects and correlates signals across Microsoft workloads. Sentinel adds SIEM and SOAR for other sources, such as firewalls and other clouds, plus longer data retention. Many enterprises run both together in the Microsoft Defender portal. We help you decide what you need.
Will Invoke run our security operations center?
We build, tune and hand over the platform so your security team can run it with confidence. If you need around-the-clock monitoring, we can arrange 24/7 managed extended detection and response (MXDR) through a trusted partner.
Which licenses do we need?
Microsoft 365 E5 or the E5 Security add-on includes the main Defender XDR workloads, and Microsoft Sentinel is billed by the data it ingests. We map your current licenses to the protection you need before recommending changes.
